They have been here forever. Their menu says 38 years. I Used to order the California salad in college ,which was a long time ago.... well I just moved nearby and they still have the salad. It's delicious as ever and very fairly priced at $6.75 for a large romaine lettuce salad with cucumber, grilled chicken, carrot, tomato, onion, croutons and hard boiled egg. I cant review the other food yet but definitely recommend this. They take cash or credit, have plenty of street parking.
Great prices for chicken wings! I just ordered 50 medium spicy wings, and they only cost $30. That's ¢60 apiece! The order came with celery sticks and chunky blue cheese dip. Very good deal for a party.
Love them but delivery needs to be more consistent...lots of people around here without vehicles
My 74 Mazda broke down in front of this place back in 85 . It was a cold night around midnight . Me and Jimmy stitzel we're up all night from long long Coke benge's. I go up to the window to see if they got any of those chicken things and what do I see? I see two fat ugly people bumping nickels like there's no tomorrow. I don't mind I didn't mind I was getting hot and heavy on the cold cold night. But then this is where is the review gets bad. They both make eye contact while the man Smiles evilly. He takes one of those big Arizona Iced Teas. You know the big ones for a dollar.god honest troot,sticks that beautiful can RIGHT UP HER ALLEY. go if you want a good taste in a bad tummy ache. Some say Paul O'Neill eat the chick Sammy plain dipped in Bleach for about 17 years before he went off to play for the Yankees. My nephew nykki got caught stealing and Arizona so I told them what you should always do when you get caught stealing something. Stick it down your pants and scream. Hopefully the screaming will release the necessary fluids to get the party started.
Easily the best pizza shop in the North Scranton area. They have great wings and anything hot wing will fit your needs whether it be the pizza or hoagie.
I didn't even know what a Buffalo Chicken Hoagie was supposed to taste like until I tried Dee Jay's. Needless to say it was a very emotional experience for my taste buds. If you find yourself driving down Main ave in North Scranton do yourself a favor and stop in before you get stuck going to a chain in Dickson City.
I give it 4 stars for the hot wing hoagie. I have been here over a dozen times and it is the only item that makes me come back. It is a must get, you will not be disappointed.
Dee Jay's has some of the best pizza and hoagies in Scranton, PA. The only reason we ended up here is b/c we heard about this place from watching 'The Office'. Can you tell we are office fans, lol!! But seriously, this place is good. It's more of a carry-out kinda place, but they do have about 4 tables in there. It's a little more Mom & Pop shop so the food is really good. Check it out if you're ever in that area.
